The Rotary Club of Lake Ridge meets every Wednesday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Westminster Retirement Home, main building, lower level. The meeting is directly across from the lower stair landing.
Meetings are the heart of The Rotary Club of Lake Ridge. Despite the early hour we have fun! Our group is not above poking a little fun at each other in the name of fellowship. Our weekly meetings are interesting and frequently feature speakers on informational topics of global or local importance.
Attendance is mandatory although some absences and makeups are allowed.
From Route 123 turn onto Old Bridge Road, then right onto Clipper Drive. Proceed through two intersections, make a left at the large stone wall marking Westminster's entrance. Take your first left to the main building. Enter through the main entrance and proceed down the main stairway. Look for our banner.

First, Let's dispel a myth or two. Rotary is not an exclusive group of old geezers meeting in smoky rooms doling out money. While a few of us might look like old codgers and one or two of us really are crotchety, we are fun-loving business owners and managers who care deeply about our local and global communities.

Established in 1917, the Rotary Foundation sponsors humanitarian projects large and small that improve the quality of life for millions of people around the globe.The foundation is supported by voluntary contributions. Careful investment of contributions prior to distribution allows more than 100% of donated money to be reinvested in service projects. We are very proud of Polio Plus the Foundation's primary project since 1985. Polio Plus, has nearly eradicated polio throughout the World.
Rotary is an international organization of over 1,000,000 clubs. Each is club is run by a board of directors and eight officers who oversee four committees known as Avenues of Service.

There is a modest initiation fee of $50. Dues are paid quarterly. $175 covers your weekly meals and membership fees for Rotary International.
